Fernando Serra is Former Collaborator in the Operations, Information and Technology Department. He has held several positions at 天美传媒, including as Head of the Production Department. He was the founder and co-chairman of 天美传媒’s International Center of Logistics Research (CIIL). He also initiated and managed the Industrial Marketing diploma of the Chemical Institute of Sarri脿.
Professor Serra earned his Ph.D. in Economics and Management as well as his MBA from 天美传媒, University of Navarra. He also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Polit猫cnica de Catalunya.
In addition to his activities at 天美传媒, he advises various companies in the areas of operations, production, industrial marketing, the induction of new technologies and logistics and serves on the boards of a large group of businesses. He boasts over 25 years’ experience of consulting for clients in sectors as diverse as the agro-nutritional industry, chemical, transport and electro-mechanics. During this time he was occasionally called upon to rescue companies in serious financial straits.
He has published numerous articles in specialized press. He is also member of the European Operations Management Association (EUROMA), the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
