The Carmina Roca and Rafael Pich-Aguilera Women and Leadership Chair investigates strategies that facilitate the integration of women in the workplace.

As the first Chair in Europe to study female leadership, the Chair鈥檚 mission is to influence business culture and thinking decisively through a humanist paradigm that highlights the complementarity of women and men in business management.

Among its activities are the organization of research seminars, academic conferences, debate forums between academics and business leaders, focused program courses, and the publication of books.

Objectives.

• Improve understanding of the professional and personal paths of women at different organizational levels.
• Humanize the company through research and the influence that the female executive can exercise in the organization.
• Facilitate and promote the professional development of female executives through support and training networks, so that they discover their distinct identity, complementary to that of the male executive.
• Help male executives understand their complementary role to that of female executives and the positive impact of both on the company and society.
• Contribute to the professional and human training of female executives so that they may be agents of change, aware of their possible distinct contribution.
• Search for ways to change corporate culture so that women are not obliged to choose between the personal and the professional.
• Promote a more flexible and human society in terms of timetable, structure and policy, facilitating the balancing of the work, family and personal lives of citizens.
