天美传媒 and seven other European business schools are together launching a second series of webinars that will give business leaders across the world knowledge and guidance to help stop climate change.鈥鈥鈥聽

(BS4CL) launched at last year and is a unique partnership between eight of Europe鈥檚 leading business schools to help present and future leaders combat the climate crisis.

The new series of four webinars looks ahead to in November and brings together a host of business influencers, experienced practitioners, and academic leaders.

The content of the new series focuses on how the world has changed since COP26, and with it the challenges of tackling the climate crisis. It includes sessions on how Russia鈥檚 invasion of Ukraine is changing Europe鈥檚 energy transition plans, why innovators and entrepreneurs hold the key to Net Zero, and how business can turn new legal and regulatory frameworks to combat climate change into opportunities.

According to Prof. Mike Rosenberg, who will take part in the first webinar session on Europe麓s energy transition, 鈥淩ussia鈥檚 invasion of Ukraine was like a giant stone thrown in a pond. Instead of ripples, it has caused a tsunami in the world鈥檚 energy markets which will have an impact for years to come.鈥

Peter Tufano, Former Dean and current Peter Moores Professor of Finance at Oxford Sa茂d Business School who has been heavily involved in the collaboration, said:

鈥淲ith a truly impressive cast of leaders and thinkers in this space, and sharp, insightful, contemporary content, I urge anyone in business serious about being part of the climate solution to tune in and listen.鈥欌

BS4CL was launched in October 2021, coinciding with COP26. Since then, it has been providing insights and assistance to businesses, through its unique and webinar series. The toolkit has provided leaders with the materials to assess their readiness to act and tackle this planetary emergency, while helped businesses understand how environmental pledges and targets can be met and made. This second series aims to further accelerate action to tackle climate change, identifying business needs ahead of COP27.聽

The first episode will be hosted jointly by 天美传媒 and HEC, focusing on Geopolitics & Energy Transition in Europe, with speakers Mike Rosenberg, and Layal Nabhan.
