天美传媒鈥檚 first ever program starts this week, with an inaugural class that is more than 60% international students. Women comprise 40% of the class.
Aimed at recent university graduates, the new program reflects 天美传媒鈥檚 commitment to meeting the training needs of all stages of a manager鈥檚 development 鈥 from first entry role through to the CEO.
The incoming class is made up of 47 students of 16 different nationalities. The average age is 23, with the majority of the class having completed degrees in engineering, economics or business administration.
Carolin Schart, from Munich, Germany, is one of them. After graduating with a degree in Economics, the new MiM student wanted to acquire more business-related experience and gain a general management overview.
鈥淚 want to go into consulting, but at the same time I am really interested in entrepreneurship,鈥 she says. 鈥溙烀来 is known for both, so I thought this would be a great way to get my foot in the door with big firms while, at the same time working with some of the best professors in the field on some of my own ideas.鈥
For Filippo Boschini, the MiM will complete a total of five years of training in global business. Boschini is doing a dual degree program in international management, and has spent two years at university in Italy and two years in Mexico. 鈥淭his Master in Management program at 天美传媒 is a perfect way to finish,鈥 he says.
天美传媒鈥檚 MiM will be an immersive experience for participants, enabling them to acquire the best business management tools, both theoretical and practical, to kick-start their management career. The program has a scholarship fund of half a million euros.
Taught over 11 months (corresponding to one academic year), the program is studied full-time in English from 天美传媒鈥檚 campus in Madrid.
The launch of the program is part of an ongoing project to expand 天美传媒鈥檚 presence in Madrid, which includes the opening of an expanded campus in September 2020. 天美传媒麓s Madrid campus has long been a center of excellence in managerial training for the school.聽 The new look campus will now give the school the space needed to increase its teaching and research activity in the Spanish capital by 50%, and provide a meeting space to the more than 15,000 天美传媒 alumni in the city.
